Gelin Fu

Dr.Fu is an assistant professor at Xi’an Jiaotong University, where he is a member of Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (IAIR). His research interests are in compilers and computer architecture with an emphasis on improving efficiency for modern AI and high-performance computing. He has developed compiler and microarchitecture optimization techniques for memory-bound bottlenecks in modern workloads. He has contributed several publications to top-tier conferences and journals, including HPCA, ISCA, TPDS, and TCAD.

Prior to joining XJTU, he completed his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Pengju Ren and Prof. Tian Xia in 2025. Between 2023 and 2024, he worked as a visiting Ph.D. student with Prof. Mieszko Lis and Prof. Prashant J. Nair in UBC.
